EDITORIAL PHOTOGRAPHY SHAPED BY PEOPLE, PLACE AND ATMOSPHERE

I am a Tokyo-based photographer creating editorial imagery for hotels, destinations and travel brands across Japan.

My work is driven by light, atmosphere and a strong sense of place. Rather than simply documenting a location, I look for the moments that reveal how it feels to be there - from the quiet of an early morning ryokan to changing light across a mountain landscape or the thoughtful details of a beautifully designed hotel.

Drawing on my background in portrait and hospitality photography, I bring people naturally into the environments I photograph, creating images that feel immersive, cinematic and genuine.

Selected Clients and Features

My commissioned work spans hospitality, travel and destination photography, creating visual stories around architecture, interiors, landscape and the guest experience.

Selected clients include The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo, JW Marriott Tokyo, Hilton Tokyo, Pullman Tokyo Tamachi and Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho.

Independent destination work has also been featured by Japan Travel.

Available for editorial assignments, hospitality campaigns and destination storytelling across Japan and internationally.

Why work with me

I bring together experience in hospitality, portrait and editorial photography, allowing me to move naturally between interiors, architecture, landscape and people within a single assignment.

My approach is unobtrusive and led by the existing atmosphere of a place, looking for genuine moments rather than overly staged scenes. When people are part of a shoot, my background in portrait photography allows me to direct them naturally while keeping the environment central to the story.

Based in Tokyo and available throughout Japan and internationally, I can work from an existing creative brief or develop a visual narrative around a property, destination or experience.
